Where did February go? Where is 2017 going? I feel like this year is slipping through my fingers. How is it practically mid-March already?! The days have been speeding past me in a blur, but in the best kind of blur possible. There were trips to the zoo, sewing my first dress, learning to cable, cooking comfort foods, and spending precious time with family.
I wish I could relive the past month and savor everything again. Although spring is just around the corner. Glorious spring! I love this time of year. The weather is perfect and there are so many events and festivals happening. Everyone starts living outdoors. Today on my walk, kids were everywhere riding their bikes and skateboards. I smelled several people barbecuing in their backyard. Easter decorations are coming out. Winter is gone and yet I’m still knitting as one must always prepare for colder days because before I know it this warm weather will, too, pass me by.
Savor. Savor. Savor.
I keep repeating this word to myself. There is so much to look forward to and so many wonderful things happening right now. I don’t want to miss a moment of it.
