The first day of summer is almost here and with it comes the triple digit heat. I think I’m in denial as I have just finished making this shawl. I like to tell myself I’m just getting an early head start for autumn.
I’m actually quite proud of this little shawl as I dyed the yarn myself. I’ve been making my way through The Modern Natural Dyer work along. I’m a little behind. I’ve discovered that I’m not a particular fan of knitting shawls. I often took breaks in knitting this but now that I’m done with it I love the softness of the different yarns and it’s strange peachy color.
And now it goes in a drawer until cooler weather arrives! So long sweet sandstone shawl!
