December, you are going way too fast! I’m trying to savor all these holiday magical moments before they are gone. Misty mornings, afternoons cooking, and cozy nights knitting is how I best describe my December days. I did break it up with a stint in Las Vegas and a detour at the Hoover Dam. It was a nice vacation with the siblings where I got to eat my heart out. Some highlights: Wicked Spoon (I fell in love with beets at this place and I didn’t even know that was possible!), Joe’s Seafood (my sister got the beef wellington and it was delicious and much better than the fish I got), and BAZ (if you love Baz Luhrmann’s films, especially the music, this is a great show). Also, I’m working my way through Start Where Your Are: A Journal for Self-Exploration which gives my mood an extra boost when I need it. I hope you are having a lovely December so far! I’m going to continue the holiday magic by spending this afternoon baking cookies and drinking hot chocolate. Cheers!
