Quilts, Summer Sunsets, & Peaches

The other day it was 103 degrees and sprinkling and all I felt was awe. I mean, I was a hot sweaty mess, too, but all that I could focus on was the amazing sunset. Every time summer comes around people complain about the heat. I glorify in it. I’m all about the sunsets, peaches, grilled pizza, late evening swims, and staying up late crafting. The days are longer so I feel like I get more stuff done–that I can be more creative.

During these summer nights, I finally finished all my blocks for my Wonderland quilt. Now I just need to sew them all together, but I plan to hold off a few days before tackling that. I’ve been neglecting my stag head pullover project, so I plan to do lots of knitting this week.

Also, if you need a perfect summer recipe, make these shrimp tacos with spiced peach jam. I made these this past week and they were so yummy! One of my favorite recipes.

I hope you all have a lovely Fourth of July!
